Old Spice for male celebrities seems to be the “you’ve made it” commercially as a celebrity. There are better commercials out there that are funnier than this Fabio commercial, but I’m glad to see he is still finding work and not taking himself too seriously. Please hear me out though, he was so FINE in his peak in the 90s. Between Brandon Frasier and Fabio….baby!!! Let me tell you, men in the 90s were so fine. Enjoy the Fabio montage below to see what I’m talking about. His story of how he became famous is actually pretty funny. His father wanted him to work with him, but Fabio wanted to be a model to avoid hard labor. His dad sent him to the United States hoping that he would fail and that very day he landed on the plane, he went into the Ford Agency without an appointment or an agent and was literally hired on the spot. The CEO was in a meeting discussing how they wanted to hire a European model, and in walks Fabio! The fact that he is still killing it today is just so funny and inspiring to me.
