Although the L’Oréal Paris Pure Sugar Scrub is marketed as a facial exfoliator, I personally don’t recommend using it on your face. The sugar granules are quite large (you can see it in the photo below), which makes them too abrasive for delicate facial skin. However, this scrub works surprisingly well as a lip exfoliator—which is exactly how Ashlee uses it in her nighttime skincare routine.
The scrub is made with three fine sugars designed for gentle exfoliation, and it seems to dissolve slightly as you massage it in—a major plus for reducing irritation. This makes it a better fit for rougher areas like the lips, where a little more grit is needed to remove dead skin effectively.

The Nyakio website is not functioning like it should and I could only find products on eBay. This is not what I was expecting to find when I researched this brand. Nyakio had really great reviews from a lot of different sources. They were exclusively at Ulta for a little bit and I’m assuming as part of the DEI program, they were also in Target.
